This company who install generator systems with sites across the world are looking to recruit a Engineering/ Projects Manager for the Nigerian side of the business. The company has recently engaged in a joint venture with a billion pound company within Nigeria. The venture is looking to to repair and improve the power systems and implement change within Nigeria to increase the quality of life. The company need someone to come and oversea the improvement and instillation within Nigeria as well as improving the company presence within this area.
The ideal candidate with have previous experience from an engineering/ projects background, man management within quality/ improvement, the person will also have a commercial nous as well as technical background and engineering understanding. The role will consist of Managing the engineers in order to hit targets in improving the power systems making sure quality and improvement is implemented correctly within the sites in Nigeria. The role will also consist of increasing the capability of the engineers and the sales and marketing strategy in the area.
This position offers long term career prospects and the chance to develop. Your responsibility will cover whole sites and a variety of key clients.
This role will suit an individual who enjoys travel and is looking for an exciting and challenging role in which you will be tested day in day out , but ultimately determined and driven towards a shared goal.
The Job:
* Overseeing the Improvement/ quality of power systems (Generators) within Nigeria
* Involved in Technical Sales which your aim will be to increase the awareness of the company in Nigeria
* Managing engineering team and helping to increase their capabilities
*Overseeing new projects
The Person;
* Experience within man management,
* Experience in a Engineering Manager / Project Manger role
* Electrical Experience and technical understanding of Improvement and Quality
*Highly motivated looking to increase there reputation by working with a global business.
