My client established oil & gas and E&P Company are currently recruiting for a Drilling Superintendent to manage the delivery of development, exploration and appraisal wells offshore Nigeria.
Candidates must have Jackup Rigs experience and operations will include managing high angle, extended reach and horizontal drilling, service contractors, service and equipment quality and complex supply chain and logistics.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years relevant experience, with at least 5 in a similar position ideally with previous West African experience.
Sound knowledge of drilling engineering and international industry standards, ideally acquired while working for a large international operator to compliment good organisational and project management skills and contracts and contractor management is essential.
This role offers a competitive day rate, net of Nigerian income tax and a contract of 12 months which is renewable based on performance.
