Role Summary/Purpose
The Facilities Administrator will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the efficient operation of Port Harcourt Facilities through managing and coordinating a number of administrative functions and processes.Essential Responsibilities
Provide assistance with management of Port Harcourt reception areasReview and maintain efficient filing system for the building (legal, maintenance records, etc)Assist with development of efficient system of reporting day to day building defects and faultsLiaise with sub contracted service providers and coordinate Facilities Maintenance personnel to perform repairs and maintenance as requiredCoordinate the rectification of defects and faults, ensuring full compliance with control of contractors HSE proceduresCoordinate inspections of work / services provided by all sub contractors and ensure high standard is set and maintainedManagement of office cleaning contract ensuring high standard of service deliveryMaintain energy consumption and cost analysis spreadsheetsPerform various analyses and assist with production of periodic energy reportsAssist with implementation of energy savings initiativesProvide Executive/VIP Admin. supportAssist with promotion of energy efficient culture throughout organizationAssist with document centre and printer efficiency management, maintaining statistical records and reporting costs to managementAssist with development of archive storage policy / processAssist with project management of new buildings fit out and office relocationsCost control / analysis and reporting on all corporate assets and their seamless tracking by the audit teamAssist with tendering / evaluation process for Facilities services contractsHandle the allocation of offices to all GE businesses & facilitation of meeting arrangementsAssist with management of security contract and promotion of security awareness in houseQualifications/Requirements
