Coordinator, Quantity Surveying - Nigeria

WTS Energy is seeking to hire Coordinator, Quantity Surveyor for one of its client who is an international Oil & Gas operating company. Coordinator, Quantity Surveyor will work with a team of Quantity surveyors to coordinate various departments and contractors for commercial services.

The responsibilities of Coordinator, Quantity Surveying include but are not limited to the following,

Cost planning, estimating, cost analysis, cost-in-use studies and value management to establish a project budgetQuantity take-off based on the architectural drawings and engineering detailsEstimates and monitors construction costs for cost databasePrepares bill of quantities/ bill of materials and tender documentsEnsures timely submission of cost estimates/ reportsReviews works of new model housesCoordinating work schedules, materials deliveries and other construction details with concerned contractors/ suppliers/ consultants/ designers/ procurement group

Requirements:

Coordinator, Quantity Syrveying will have degree in Civil Engineering.Minimum of 10 years experience in Quantity surveying with in Oil & Gas industry.Minimum of 5 years experience in Coordinator role or supervisory roleExperienced in coordinating work schedules, materials deliveries and other construction details with concerned contractors/ suppliers/ consultants/ designers/ procurement groupComputer literate (knowledge in autocad and other office applications)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAnalytical and organized

More Details:

Work schedule:Resident based job.Initial Contract of 12 months (Option to extend). For this position, preference will be given to Nigerian nationals. In case Expatriate candidate(s) are selected it is a prerequisite he/she is tasked to mentor and train a Nigerian understudy
