Deep Water Surveyor - Nigeria

MPH International specialized in providing expertise to the international oil and gas companies is currently looking for DW Surveyor Services to work in Nigeria

Within the Deep Water (DW) organisation and reporting to the Manager DW Technical Logistics, provide technical assistance:

manage interface with major Survey Contractors, from different cultures

anticipate and manage numerous required contacts

provide technical knowledge to reinforce Management position with Survey Contractors, especially in technically innovative fields.

communicate effectively with affiliate entities as well as other affiliates or even partners and local authorities, in order to manage complex and numerous interfaces,

most significant equipments, technologies or techniques : Surface and Deep water positioning,ROV, interfacing, R&D.

Define survey systems and equipments required for all surface and sub-sea positioning activities (drilling, installation, metrologies…).Get involved into Contracts establishment.Organize supervision and Quality Control of positioning and inspection survey operations.Specifically organize and validate results of metrology operations operated by Survey Contractor, in order to manufacture jumpers/spool.Offer Technical Support to operations involving vessels with Dynamic Positioning.Update charts and databases for exploration, development and production installations on regular basis.Be the key Contact for Deepwater Direction and Headquarters for positioning activities, charting, topography and survey activities taking place off shore deepwater.

Required Qualifications And Background

Qualification: BSc in Geomatic sciences or relevant qualification

Professional Experience: 5 minimum as Surveyor in the Offshore oil & gas industry, with experience at sea.

Previous similar role, especially in managing and interfacing with major Contractors.

Full understanding ofHSEimportance in planning and executing projects. Understanding of project management processes. Working knowledge of all relevant discipline codes and standards.

Well developed written and spoken English language skills. The job holder must have or keep up a valid BOSIET/ HUET/ Medical.
