HSE Superintendent - Nigeria

CCL () has been requested by a major international oil company to provide an HSE Superintendent to be based in Nigeria. This is a residential position. One year renewable contract. Travel as requested by Client. Good Rate. Degree qualification in a relevant discipline. Excellent communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English, essential. Must be eligible to reside and work in Nigeria. Minimum 10 years of experience in HSE positions preparing and supervising follow up of offshore activities planned through the tie-ins and integration campaign on the existing installations. Simultaneous operations between Drilling and Production / Construction. Prepare and assure follow up of bridging document and management dossier. Integrate emergency procedures in close coordination with offshore division. Put in place the SIMOPS dossier and assure follow up during integration campaign. Organize and lead safety meetings and workshops. Ensuring implementation of the approved Contractor HSE plan and referenced procedures including bridging documents. Undertake site HSE audits & inspections and ensure corrective action recommendations closed-out. Contribute in building, control and follow up corresponding sites HSE improvement plan. Ensure sites personnel receive basic HSE induction training as well as minimum HSE training / competence required to perform duties in a reliable and safe manner. Bachelors Degree or equivalent
