THE GROUP
Our client, a well established and thriving group based in warri (Delta State), seeks to engage a General Manager for its operations; the business activities of the Group include marine operations, estate management and staff outsourcing.
THE JOB
The Group General Manager shall:
Develop, plan, implement and constantly appraise the strategic direction, business activities and overall policy of the Group, for peak business performance and maximum returns on investment.
Provide strategic and effective leadership and direction for the management team and staff of the organization
Drive business development and marketing initiatives. www.nigerianbestforum.com
Manage effective relationship with all stakeholders of the Group (including clients, Board of directors and the community), in order to ensure smooth business operations and positively impact on the Group’s Bottom-line.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
The ideal candidate, who could come from any ethic group or region in the country, should:
Not be less than 35 years old
Have good Bachelor degree in a business, finance or management science. The possession of an MBA or relevant M.SC would be added advantage
Possess minimum of 7 years relevant working experience in a related business environment, at least 3 of which should be at senior/executive management level
Have a strong record of excellent performance in general management and business turn around. Hands-on experience and competency in any one or a combination of the core business of the Group (Marine, staff outsourcing and estate management)will be added advantage. www.nigerianbestforum.com
