LAGBUS is a multi-depot bus operating company with a fleet size of over 500 buses and staff strength of over 1,000 employees, providing intra-city commuter services within Lagos State, Nigeria.

Supervision and management of technical staff required to maintain approximately 500 high capacity buses, deployed at a multi-depot bus operating company.Responsibility for supporting engineering staff and assisting them in controlling labour and materials costs in line with the engineering budget.Responsibility for coordinating and managing the day to day engineering activitiesEnsure key targets such as bus availability, bus reliability and engineering budget are metDevelopment and implementation of engineering Standard Operating ProceduresResponsibility for managing workshop staff productivity and performanceGeneral repairs of heavy duty vehiclesMajor diesel engine repairs and overhaulsHands on / Practical knowledge of heavy duty diesel enginesA minimum of degree or equivalent in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering (Workshop Manager & Workshop Supervisor only)A minimum of Trade Certificate 1, 2 and 3 in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering (Workshop Foreman only)A minimum of 5 years engineering workshop management experience (Workshop Manager & Workshop Supervisor only)Practical experience in leading multiple teams at multiple sitesGood analytical skillsStrong communication and leadership skillsAbility to pay attention to detailsProficient in the use of Microsoft Office and experience in Fleet Management Systems (Workshop Manager & Workshop Supervisor only)
