MAnaging Director in a reputable financial institution

A non-bank financial institution with primary objective of transforming the agricultural sector by facilitating increased lending to fixed agricultural value chains in Nigeria requires the services of competent and suitably qualified professional to fill the following position:

MANAGING DIRECTOR / CHIEF EXECTIVE OFFICER (NXT / NIRSAL – MD001)

Reporting to the Board of Directors, this position will be responsible for analyzing and pre-empting challenges and resolving same promptly in the agricultural sector

REQUIREMENTS

A first degree in any field from a reputable institution; possession of a Master’s degree including an MBA is an advantageNot less than 12 years cumulative cognate experience in a series of roles involving corporate finance, strategic planning, personnel management and risk management of which a minimum of 8 years must have been spent at senior management levelMembership of a professional business related institute such as ICAN, CIMA, CIBN is an advantagePrior experience as a C-level executive (CFO, COO, CEO) in a commercial / for profit organization is an advantage; prior experience with financial services / agribusiness will be a plusRelevant experience working with legal counsel to define and develop agreement related to project financing, corporate transactions and shareholder agreementsExperience working with domestic and international partnersPreference for a leader who has helped to start and grow a businessMust be a Nigerian National with established track records in the sector
